Spey Casting Masterclass

We will book your days fishing on a hand selected prime beat, where we think there will be the best chance of catching salmon in the conditions of the river at that time.

We will provide all fishing tackle and waders to ensure that you have  suitable gear to make the most from your day.

The day begins with some fresh coffee at the fishing hut and making a plan subject to the river conditions. We will then head out for a brief Spey Casting Masterclass, breaking down the mechanics of the casting to get our guests exactly where we need to be.

During the morning we will help by fine tuning your casting skills and help with any casting issues, whilst fishing to ensure we have the best chance of catching salmon.

Guided fishing & Lunch

Fly fishing for salmon is not just about mastering the casting, but also reading the water, mastering the control of the swing and how to present your fly in the perfect way. Our guides will work with you to ensure you understand what we are trying to do and of course be on hand to net your catch.

There is something tranquil about fly fishing and our guides know when to be on hand and also when to step back and let you take everything in.

Our delicious lunches are provided by the local restaurant Milton Brasserie, who can cater for all dietary requirements and always provide a range of platters to ensure it meets everyone's taste. From hand made baguettes, salads, home baked sausage rolls, local cheeses, and fresh scones with jam and cream they always hit the spot before heading back out to fish in the river.
