The Scottish trout season opens on the 15th March. As winter turns to spring we like to spend time on our trout streams searching for the big hungry trout that have had a lean few months.

River Borgie | Scotland
The Borgie is a stunning intimate highland river nestled on the north coast of Scotland. Many people who have fished the Borgie will remember it as a really special place.
It is a small river where switch rods and single hand rods are the norm.
This is a spring week looking for some of the first salmon entering the season.

Cambus O'May is one of our favourite beats on the River Dee, especially in the month of May.

Matapedia | East Coast Cananda
As we head in to June we see many international river opening their seasons. East-coast Canada and the Matadpedia see many of the largest salmon running in the early days of June. Season | June - September

Iceland really gets going in July and there are so many options to fish some spectacular rivers.
In early and mid July we spend most of our time in the south and west, as we approach August we head north.
