Loch Style Trout Wets

A collection of our favourite Loch style wets. Best fished in a team of two or three, either from a drifting boat or the bank. Pulled through the waves are fished slightly slower in just a ripple.

As a rule of thumb, fish the bushiest fly on the top dropper which becomes your dibbling fly as you dibble the flies into the bank or boat with a slightly less bushy one one the middle dropper and a non hackled on on the point to act as the anchor (black Pennell is our favourite.

We would be happy fishing most Scottish Trout Hill Lochs with this selection for Brown trout and sea-trout.
