Tan BB Foam Gurgler

The Gurgler is a surface fly which occupies a space somewhere between a hitch and a muddler. The foam back keeps it from being waterlogged, which produces a consistent wake. 

We like to cast it square and drift it on a long leader for salmon in slow moving pools where there is not enough ripple for a muddler or flow for a hitch. It can work on its own or as a dropper behind a small hairwing or tube. 

As a rule of thumb, tan ones for daytime and black for the evening and  into the dusk.
