The Course -
Designed for both novice and intermediate anglers
A residential 3 day 4 night course to kick start your salmon fishing career. Covering all aspects of salmon fishing on the River Dee.

At Twinpeakes we are in the business of introducing and teaching newcomers into our sport of salmon fishing.
It can be a daunting sport to get into and we want to kick start your fly fishing career.
• Our 3 day course is designed to take you from aimlessly trying to get the fly out to fishing with confidence.
• This course will combine qualified instruction in a real fishing environment.
Itinerary
Day 1
• Arrive into Aberdeen via plane or car and check into Upper Blackhall stables. Meet the TPFF Team, Dinner and discuss the course overview
Day 2
• Day one of Salmon fishing course. The days will begin with casting instruction for the morning, with a focus on when and where to use each cast.
• Lunch on the river
• PM Reading water and fishing for the afternoon
• Evening Knot tying
Day 3
• Day 2 : Spey casting part 2 - Managing wind and tricky environments
• Tackle and tactics for the seasons
• Pm Fishing
• Evening quiz
Day 4
• Day 3 : Fishing / Tackle & Tactics
• On the final day we want you to fish as much as you can, we will have different outfits available for you to use from switch rods, scandi lines and skagits.
• We will teach you how to fish different tactics for the conditions on the day
Day 5
• Check out 10am, depart home / explore Royal Deeside or feel free to add three more days fishing on the Dee.
Accomodation - Blackhall Stables
Blackhall Stables The Stables accommodates 12 people in total.
It is built around a courtyard and comprises the main house and an annex. It has extensive gardens laid to lawn and shrubs.
The house is looked after meticulously by Jenny, and your evening meal can be cooked by the very experienced Joan Sinclair.
